David, thank you for another job well done! You have created a home that we are enjoying so much! Thanks for your friendship and awesome work!
C.S. Ardsley, NY
We are flexible and happy to work with our clients whether they are embarking on new construction, renovating one area of their home, or simply adding technology to an existing space without any remodeling.
We have significant experience with each type of project. For example, we provided the full complement of our services to a client who was building a waterfront estate in Darien, Connecticut. For this project we designed and installed an indoor and outdoor music system, a lighting control system, motorized window treatments, TVs, a network, security cameras and a dedicated theater.
For another client, who was renovating a basement guestroom and bathroom, we were able to provide a transformation of this small space that stunned even the judges at Electronic House/CE Pro. The theater that Multimedia Resource Group designed and installed in that space won the Gold Award – Best Home Theater and was the runner up for CEDIA Best Home Theater in a worldwide competition.
We also work on small projects, should a client want to simply add a music or lighting system, new motorized shades, or another custom technology feature.
Founder / President
David Kepke, Multimedia Resource Group’s founder, has long had the goal of helping people use technology to make their lives better, safer, easier, and more fun.
When David graduated from Binghamton University, he began working for the largest mechanical contractor in New York City. At this time, automation technology was just emerging. This technology allowed monitoring and control of building systems from a central location. Fascinated by this technology, David decided to pursue working in commercial HVAC control systems, which allowed engineers to control and monitor building systems from one location, instead of walking through high-rises, as they previously needed to do. But David was not content leaving it there. Bringing these types of control conveniences to the residential setting became his mission. After serving as CEO of another technology systems integrator, in 2000, David founded Multimedia Resource Group.
